Shaefri is an Irish-Egyptian, London-based artist, writer, producer and DJ, who has received immense support from BBC Introducing, Spotify (NMF UK, New Pop UK, Fresh Finds: Pop, A Breath of Fresh Eire & more), Apple Music (NMD) UK, Irish and US press (Sunday Times Culture, Clash, The Line of Best Fit, DIY, Earmilk, Billboard, Hot Press & more) and Irish Radio stations (RTE 2FM, Cork 96FM, RTE 1FM, Newstalk (Hot Press new music segment), Dublin City FM, WRLFM & more).
Following the success of her ‘Girl EP’ she signed with Warners’ boutique publisher, ‘W Songs’ and has secured syncs on shows across ITV (inc. Love Island), Channel 4, Amazon Prime, Netflix (Love Is Blind) and ABC (The Rookie), amongst others, and worked with brands such as Sephora and Estrid. She was selected to perform at Ireland Music Weeks’ three day festival as one of their 50 emerging artists and, with the support of Abbey Road, has been mentored by Jordan Rakei.
Shaefri’s music has been streamed over four million times and she is an accomplished songwriter and producer, having written with artists/writers such as Dagny, Hybrid Minds, Scott Verrill (Good Neighbours), Craigie Dodds, Jonny Lattimer, Nick Hodgson and Ivor Novello Rising Star, Master Peace. Shaefri has a longstanding relationship with Because Music in France and co-writes for acts across their own well established & Ed Banger rosters. As an artist, she has featured on ‘Hundred’ by Fabich, ‘Aware’ by FADES and co-wrote the soundtracks for Sundance-nominated ‘Binti’ and 6x IFTA-nominated ‘Who We Love’.
As a DJ, she has received support from Girls Don’t Sync, and she regularly performs at London spots ‘The Jago’ (Dalston), with SWANA collective ‘Habibti Nation’ and for clients such as the BBC.
Shaefri is a skilled live performer, having played shows across the UK, at venues such as The Roundhouse, The Sebright Arms, Bush Hall, The Social, The Old Blue Last, The Troubadour, Notting Hill Arts Club, Colours, The Bedford and has toured Ireland in venues such as Whelans’ in Dublin and Monroe’s in Galway.
Shaefri is currently mid-EP campaign, having just released ‘The Best You’ll Ever Have’ with two new singles to come in mid 2026.
